Policies

Policies, in plain words

The terms a manager or a board usually asks about, before signing.

Keys, fobs and codes

The crew lead holds the fobs and keys on a list the building signs. They are kept in a locked box at our office between visits. Door and alarm codes are never written on the sheet the crew carries. If we lose a fob or a key, we tell you the same day and pay to replace it. Rekeying a whole building is decided with you.

Inspections

A supervisor walks each building at least once a week, usually after the crew, and signs the log. The inspection lead walks the whole building with the manager once a month, if the manager wants it. One log page for each building goes to the manager or the board contact at the end of each month.

If something is missed, broken or missing

Tell us by phone or email. We re-clean a missed area on the next visit, or sooner if you ask. For something broken or missing, we write it up with you that week, and our insurance responds if it applies.

Exit terms

Either side can end a plan with 30 days' written notice. There is no minimum term and no fee for ending it. We invoice through the end of the notice, return every key and fob, and you sign for them.

The night line

The night line is (410) 555-0104. It rings the night supervisor, Glenroy Skeete, or the supervisor on shift, every night from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. and all day on weekends. During office hours, call (410) 555-0103. Calling the line costs nothing. A visit outside your plan is billed at the rate written in your agreement, and we say the rate before anyone is sent.

Products

We bring our own supplies and equipment. On high-touch surfaces in lobbies, mailrooms and fitness rooms we clean first, then disinfect with an EPA-registered product, used as its label directs. Fragrance-free products are available on request.

What we do not do

Biohazard and mold, hoarding and bulk clearing, work at height, pest treatment and building repairs. When we find one in a building we are cleaning, we tell the manager the same day.

Insurance

Insurance and registration

A certificate of insurance goes to the manager or lender on request, before the first visit. Say if the building should be named as certificate holder.

  • Insurance

    • General liability insurance, $1M per occurrence, $2M aggregate

Covers damage to your building while we clean it. We send a certificate of insurance on request, before the first visit.

    • Workers' compensation insurance

Covers our crew on your property. A certificate comes with the general liability one.

  • Registration

    • Business registration · MD Registration 000000 · Maryland State Department of Assessments and TaxationVerify

Registers the business with the state. Maryland has no state license for janitorial work; look the number up on the state's business search.
