Common-area cleaning

Lobbies and amenity rooms

The rooms visitors and residents judge the building by, cleaned to a checklist and signed for.

Lobbies and amenity rooms are where a building's standard shows first. We list each room's tasks on the zone sheet, so a new crew member does the same work.

On every scheduled visit

  • Vacuum and mop lobby floors, and shake out mats

  • Clean entry glass and door frames at hand height

  • Wipe the mailbox wall, package shelves and counters

  • Wipe fitness machines and weights at touchpoints

  • Clean laundry room floors, tables and machine fronts

  • Empty bins and replace liners

  • Clean, then disinfect high-touch surfaces with an EPA-registered product, used as its label directs

How a visit goes

A visit, in order

  1. 01

    Step 1: Sign in

The crew lead signs in and reads the notes on the zone sheet, such as a resident event.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Dry, then wet

Dusting and vacuuming come first, then wet work, with signs out.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Touchpoints last

High-touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected at the end, so nothing is touched again.

  4. 04

    Step 4: The supervisor signs

The supervisor walks the room and writes any fixes in the log.

Questions

Three questions about this service

Do you disinfect?

We clean first, then disinfect high-touch surfaces with an EPA-registered product, used as its label directs. Fragrance-free products are available on request.

Can a clubhouse be cleaned after an event?

Yes, as a one-time clean or a line in the plan. Tell us the room and the day, and the supervisor confirms.

Who unlocks the rooms?

The crew lead holds the fobs or keys on the building's signed list. See the policies page.

Which rooms does the building share?

Walk the building with us and we write each room into the plan.
